Currently on the Warners Antique Silver website, there are two variations of a George 111 Silver christening mug, as well as a William IV silver christening mug. The first George 111 silver christening mug is dated 1820 and has a half fluted baluster form displaying a band of reeded decoration. It also has an acanthus leaf capped handle and gilt interior. The second George 111 mug is dated 1818, having a tapering cylindrical form with bands of reeded decoration and a monogram to one side. Finally, the William IV silver christening mug is dated 1837. It has a foliate scroll handle and lobed urn shaped body, raised on a circular foot and with a gilded interior. This one has no monograms or crests, which would make it a perfect and substantial gift for Christenings or special occasions.
